Why Aren't we fishing yet?
We bought a yellow canoe off craigslist from a nice lady out in the flint hills of Kansas. With an afternoon drive to pick it up and a weekend in a local campsite. It was a beautiful morning on the side of the lake with coffee, bacon, and a nice breeze. There are so much of our lives we spend our time rushing here to there from task to task. Doing the things we think we are meant to do the things we think are important. So the point is I was asked "Why aren't we fishing yet?" Well, because it ok to move slow sometimes and just enjoy and not get to the next thing on the list. But this painting is a reminder a call to go back as often as we can.
