This is the first completed painting after surgery on my working hand and shoulder. Echinacea is a medicinal healing plant coneflower or elk root are other names you may recognize.  I thought it would be fitting to paint the coneflowers growing in my yard this year. So I will drink the tea meditate on healing be thankful for moments of peace, calm, and beauty.
