Inspired by the old saying that we owe our existence to six inches of topsoil and the fact that it rains. The big skies and shifting colors of the Flint Hills led me to loosen up my brushwork for this one, chasing the way the light and color out here never sit still. I'm Miranda Easton, a painter based in Northeast Kansas. My work blends surrealism with observation, exploring the bond between nature and humanity through symbols like trees, hearts, water, and twins. Each piece is an invitation to slow down and question what you see.
